Product Description
Home Master HydroPerfection Undersink Reverse Osmosis System delivers exceptional water purity while also adding beneficial minerals that produce clean, great-tasting Mineral Water on Tap. The included permeate pump will reduce water waste by up to 80 percent while increasing water production by up to 50 percent. Home Master's innovative design eliminates the most common problems found in traditional RO systems -- canister filter housing leaks, slow flow rate, high water waste, service challenges, and slightly acidic water. What makes Home Master HydroPerfection a smarter choice? Clean, great-tasting water; a modular filter design; the power of UV light; easy-to-change filters; faster flow rate; and better water efficiency. Home Master HydroPerfection uses its nine stages of filtration, purification, sterilization, and enhancement to produce exceptionally clean water. It uses its sediment, iron, catalytic carbon and reverse osmosis purification process to remove up to 98 percent of iron, hydrogen sulfide, chloramines, chlorine, chemicals, dissolved solids, metals, and other harmful contaminates from the water. Also, the type of dissolved iron commonly found in well water will destroy the reverse osmosis membrane without the IRON filter protecting it. The Home Master's superior pre-iron filter, which contains an advanced redox media KDF85, removes dissolved iron from the water. Additionally, the mixed media prefilter uses powerful catalytic carbon to remove chemicals like chloramines, herbicides and pesticides. The advanced ultraviolet light sterilization chamber is always on guard and safely destroys 99.9 percent of germs, viruses, and bacteria. This results in exceptionally pure, great tasting water. This package contains an assembled purification unit that includes RO membrane and filters, storage tank, 3/8-inch feed-water adapter with shut off, chrome RO faucet, RO adapter, 110v power supply, drain saddle, and instructions.

Troubled by your Tap Water? Not with a Home Master HydroPerfectionWhy have an undersink RO system? --Tap water can contain contaminants that range from dubious to dangerous. --Bottled water is environmentally unfriendly and expensive to buy, transport, and store. This Home Master HydroPerfection may seem like overkill with its Cold UV sterilizer, IRON KDF85 catalytic carbon mixed media pre-filter and DOW RO membrane that's tightly wound and Made in the USA, but for you overkill is the right amount of water purification. It removes up to 98% salts, metals, lead, TDS, fluoride, and 1000s more. Some tankless RO systems make extra space under your sink for more sponges, but they use loosely wound imported membranes that only reject 90% of salts, TDS and metals. 8% less contamination in your drinking water and a powerful UV sterilizer, or more sponges? Your priority is getting the purest possible drinking water for you and your family (including the furry 4-legged kind). Get the Home Master. |
Saves Water 1:1 Waste Ratio | Reduced TDS CreepHome Master achieves three major performance improvements with our Fast Flow RO! Kit and non-electric permeate pump: significantly reduced TDS Creep, faster flow rate, and significantly reduced water waste. The permeate pump increases water production by up to 50% and reduces water waste by up to 80% for a 1:1 waste ratio when used as directed. The tank fills fuller and provides cleaner water by virtually eliminating TDS Creep – an issue with many tankless RO systems. The Home Master TMHP realizes these improvements by boosting pressure during the fill cycle and regulating water flow. And because the tank keeps purified water on tap, wasteful flushing is not necessary between normal periods of inactivity. The included non-electric permeate pump will make a soft click and whoosh sound, but only for short periods after use. It's the sound of savings. Additional sound deadening materials available at no charge upon request. |
Patented 2-pass Full Contact remineralization | Mineral Water on TapThe patented 2-pass Artesian Full Contact remineralization system pH balances the water at two different points in the process, adding small amounts of NSF certified calcium and magnesium minerals through a natural process. The 1st pass occurs on the way storage tank as the water leaves the membrane, flowing gently over the beneficial minerals giving the water delicious body and pH balance. The pH balanced water helps to prevent storage tank degradation too. The 2nd pass occurs as you open the RO faucet. The highly pure pH balanced water is squeezed out of the pressurized storage tank at higher pressure through the Artesian remineralization filter on the way to the faucet. It makes the water perfect - slightly alkaline, delicious, refreshing, highly-pure, Mineral Water on Tap. Home Master promises that it’s the best tasting water you will ever have. HydroPerfection. |
Saves Time & Money | The Perfect ChoiceHow will you use your RO system? Home Master delivers a 4.5 second fill rate (time to fill 8oz) allowing you to fill a coffee pot, humidifier, or reusable bottle - fast. Some 600gpd tankless systems require 30-60 seconds of wasteful flushing before every use to clear out the TDS Creep, then it takes 9 more seconds to fill an 8oz glass. A minute to get a glass of water or 4.5 seconds to get a glass of The Perfect Water? Home Master respects your time. Traditional RO systems use canister filter housings, where only the filters are changed - not the filter housings. Sediment, microorganisms & biofilm can accumulate in the canisters necessitating service every 6-months or suffer degraded water quality. Home Master uses a more hygienic modular design with accessible components and self-contained filters changed annually. Push-in-fittings make the filter changes quick – no wrenches required. It may not be pretty, but it works beautifully. |
New for 2024 - Cold UV
For 2024 Home Master introduces an LED UV sterilizer that is more effective than chlorine in eliminating viruses – without using harmful chemicals and without heating the water. It's on guard at all times, to ensure every drop of water is safely sterilized. As the water enters the UV sterilization chamber, it’s bombarded with intense light waves (254um). This light penetrates the cell wall of the microorganisms, attacking their DNA, rendering 99.99% dead or unable to reproduce.
The EPA has recognized UV technology as one of four approved water sterilization methods, and it is the preferred method due to its instant results. UV sterilizer operates for a full year at 17,000-mws/cm.
The Home Master UV sterilizer is registered under EPA #97952-AZ-1, and has been approved to kill, inactivate, or suppress growth of germs, viruses, bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms in the water.
Standard 110v outlet required for UV functionality.

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
The only issue I had (taking ease of installation to 3-stars) was that the system I received shipped with a saddle valve connection to the drain line for drainage. As far as I can tell, it is illegal to use these in the US since it is not a secure drain connection. So I independently ordered a drain-line adapter to my dishwasher drain line. Works perfectly, no leaks. Thank goodness for Amazon same-day delivery. I did not contact tech support on this issue so I have no personal experience with using them.
I initially connected my icemaker to the system, however, I found that the icemaker draws too much water for the RO system and it can't keep up. After a few days we started running out of water and the reserve tank was constantly empty. Our icemaker is an undercabinet icemaker, so it's water needs are much higher than a normal refrigerator would be. So I've moved my icemaker to a separate high-flow filter system and that solved the problem.
Installation is clean and everything is accessible for future maintenance. Takes a lot of space under the sink, but we moved cleaning items and dishwasher tabs to a different cabinet. I recommend labeling the filters with date of installation so you know when to service them in the future.
Overall, the end product is great! Water tastes fantastic and so much better than bottled water. We can taste the difference and its especially noticeable in our coffee maker.

I previously had an older GE system with the typical membrane and canister style filters. Every 6 months ‘painful’ filter changes and poor performance drove me to find a better solution.
My first path was to go with a Pelican combination whole house filter and salt free water softener. My plumber and others said whole house filter was the way to go for pure water and clear ice, not so much. Even Pelican suggested RO was not needed with the whole house filter. While I’m pleased with the Pelican system, the water is indeed soft and clean throughout my home, my faucets don’t accumulate scale and no more itching skin from the massive amount of chlorine they put in the hard water here in Arizona. However, it is not the solution for pure drinking water and clear ice.
Installation of the Home Master system was easy. If you’re somewhat handy, Perfect Water’s installation instructions and videos provide all you need to complete the project yourself. The color coded tubing takes the guesswork out of connecting the tubing in the system, genius when you compare that to other systems with all white tubing. All connections are easy to use ‘push-to-connect’ fittings, the installation instructions reiterate often to insure you push the tubing firmly into the fittings and then pull the tubing to insure connection. If you do this properly there will be no leaks.
Performance, simply superb! When you consider my source (feed) water comes in at ~430 ppm and exits the Home Master system at ~25 ppm, the numbers don’t lie. However, check out my attached images and you will see that pictures tell the rest of the story. I can tell you the water tastes amazing, as well as my coffee and iced tea, however seeing the picture of the Home Master produced ice beside the pre-RO ice will also convince you why the Home Master system should be your choice. The facts on ‘clear ice’….
While my particular clear ice results are truly dramatic, you need to know that pure water alone does not produce truly clear ice. Cloudy ice results from 2 things, impure water and how the ice is produced. Typical icemakers in refrigerators produce ice by freezing the water from the outside, in. Through this process there will always be trapped gasses pushed to the center of the cube. For perfectly ‘clear’ ice you need pure water and a ‘clear’ ice maker. These machines freeze the water in layers freezing water from the inside, out. The result is perfectly clear, harder ice that lasts longer and makes your drinks taste amazing. These are the ice machines most restaurants use. I have one on my list, maybe one day, they are expensive.
Another major selling point for me on the Home Master was the fact that you only change the filters annually and according to what I see in my system and what I’ve read, it will be easy.
I also took maintenance of the system one step further by installing HM Digital’s TRM-1 Triple TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) monitor. Installation of the TRM-1 was easy, turn off the feed water supply valve and drain the storage tank to eliminate system pressure (I also unplugged the UV filter for safety). Buy a plastic tubing cutting tool (about $10.00) to insure straight tube edges for the fittings. Insert the probe tees inline where you desire to monitor TDS, it should be feed water (1/4” orange tube), post membrane (1/4” black tube) and final product water 3/8” blue tube). I also called Perfect Water and asked where I should connect the 3 monitors, their customer service department is awesome, told me how to do it and sent me a diagram.
As always insure proper tubing connection in the fittings and turn your feed supply on to refill your tank and resume operation. By monitoring post membrane you can also calculate your membrane rejection rate, mine is currently operating at 97%, just as Perfect Water states in the product description (up to 98%). Online research says membranes should be replaced when rejection rate falls below 75% to 80%.
This triple monitor tells me my TDS in the feed water, post membrane and post Artesian filter for the final product water. Just as the Perfect Water folks describe in FAQ’s, the post membrane water PPM in my system is about ~15 ppm and then post Artesian product water is ~25 ppm. They add minerals back to the water which results in higher ppm, however this also produces GREAT tasting water. Ideal drinking water falls in the 1-50 ppm range and is achieved from reverse osmosis, microfiltration, etc. While Perfect Water recommends annual filter changes the monitor also allows me to see when filter performance deteriorates, so maybe I change them sooner or maybe they last a little longer? Quick note on the HM Digital monitor; if you search it online you will find it comes with either 1/4” or 3/8” inline tees. The Home Master system has both 1/4” and 3/8” tubing so you will need to order the monitor with 2-1/4” tees and 1-3/8” tee. The probes that connect to the tees are all 1/4”. The fine folks at HM Digital solved that issue for me.
So, what are you waiting for? Click that order button and you also will be writing a 5 star review on the amazing Home Master TMHP.
Update 8-30-17: Six weeks after installation the system is humming along flawlessly producing amazing, great tasting water and ice. May I also compliment the support department at The Perfect Water. I called in and emailed with questions on my system performance and I was expertly guided through some troubleshooting which quickly resolved my initial concern. Not only does The Perfect Water manufacture superb RO systems, they back up this 5 star product with 6 star customer service! Many thanks to Will, Matthew and Tim, your professionalism and acute attention to superb customer service are a great credit to your product and your company!

Update for 2021: Have gone through several seasons with filter replacements and trouble-free operation. Recently moved and bought my 2nd hydro perfection loaded setup with UV & the upgraded faucet (same as my first one). Had a couple of connection challenges for the new install, but the vendor was super helpful & responsive to get me up and running quickly. Not only is the product top notch, but the customer service is really amazing--they answer the phone with a human during business hours, return calls if voice mail is left after hours, and promptly assist with supporting info via email and / or parts if needed with expedited delivery.
While this system price is a bit higher than some budget units, the quality, flow rate, customer service, and peace of mind that you are drinking the best possible water that you can get are worth every penny! I would not hesitate to recommend Perfect Water's Hydro Perfection system as best in class and really the only one I'd ever consider buying for myself if/when I ever need another one.

La membrana de osmosís inversa su recambio ocurre sólo cada 3 a 5 años dependiendo de la calidad de agua de su municipio.
En contra está que los recambios no siempre están disponibles en Amazón.
Overall I would reccomend this RO system. It is much better than the old one I had 5 years ago.
It is a bit noisy from time to time, but it's become whitenoise.
My only complaint was installation, the videos are terrible. Customer service is helpful though.
We did figure it out, it was just a pain because they make the videos in these little couple minute segments so you can't just watch the entire process and pause where necessary. All the bouncing back and forth to try to remember which part was in which video was very very annoying.
Still, the system produces a ton of high pressure tasty water!
this definitely did the trick!!
i find the taste of the remineralized water so good. i have had the system for about three years now and i am still quite satisfied.
1 thing that i would like to see is a gauge that would indicate when the filters are getting close to needing a replacement.
